- Kansas native. Graduated from the University of Kansas in 1992. Worked for NPR affiliate KANU/Kansas Public Radio for 17 years. Hosted an award winning punk rock show in college (SPIN magazine). Wrote for New York Rocker, The Bob, The Offense, Maximum Rock 'n' Roll. First cartoon nationally published at age 17.
